He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Sauer and Almaneda Sauer; and his brothers, Stanley Sauer (Nancy) and Dean Sauer. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sauer; his children, Byron Sauer Baltimore, MD, Jamie (Patrick), Jarrod (Jennifer) and Jon Sauer; his grandchildren, Amelia Carroll, Isabel Sauer, Evelyn Carroll, Garrett Braun and Avery Braun; and his brother Bill Sauer Prairie (Bonnie).
