He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Mavers and Mary Mavers; his wife Patricia Petre; his son Dale Mavers; his son-in-law Clarence Hamilton; his siblings, Doris Murdock, Viola Mcelhiney and Lloyd Mavers; and his friend Cathy Mechler.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda, Darryl and Donna Guebert (Kenny); his brother David; his granddaughters, Kimberly Johnson (Wade) and Heather Burgess (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Ayden, Jett Burgess, Jackson Johnson and Raised; Davie Mavers and Dawn Mavers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Pechacek Funeral Homes (1340 W Market St, Red Bud, IL 62278). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church (310 N Main St, Hecker, IL 62248).
