He is survived by: his children, Ashley Kopecky (Joe) and Charles Powers (Angela Kossaris); his grandchildren, Charlie, Jordyn, Rachel and Emily; and his sister Michelle Shinberger (Shelby).

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the River Ridge Church (7664 Wilmot Rd, Spring Grove, IL 60081).
