He was predeceased by: his parents, Onieda Simmerman (Schlichting) and George Simmerman. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy York; his children, Carl Simmerman (JoEtta) of Elkhorn, WI and Mary Wiesen (Steve) of Ft. Atkinson, WI; and his siblings, Mary Lukritz of Lombard, IL and Harlan Simmerman (Linda) of Omaha, NE.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his name to Grace Lutheran Church.
