He was predeceased by : his parents, Inez Kubis and Howard Kubis (Lenzen); and his father-in-law Earl "Mike" Rieck (Gloria). He is survived by : his wife Roxanne Lewey; his daughters, Roxanne Lewey, Kristena Blume (David), Lisa Haskins, Sarah Esplin (Matthew), Jennete Bremer (Micheal) and Natalie Wylde (Jacob); his grandchildren, Avry, Addyson, Everett, Emmie, Kawena, Maximus, Elianna, Zander, Milena and Ryker; his great grandchildren, Trisha, Kenneth and Michael; and his brothers, Daniel Lewey and Gene "Spooter" Kubis.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the CrossPoint Church (27430 W Nippersink Rd, Ingleside, IL 60041). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
