It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Jones of Ridgway, Illinois, born in Eldorado, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Winfred "Bim" Jones and Beulah Jones (Maynard). He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Lawler of Ridgway; his children, Brian Jones (Kelly) of Nashville, TN, Bill Jones (Amanda) of Ridgway, Amy Goforth (Todd) of New Haven and Mary Lynn Reeder (Buddy) of Ridgway; his brother Denny Jones (Nancy); his niece Erica Catone (Mike) of Mt. Juliet, TN; his mother-in-law Bernice Lawler of Ridgway; his grandchildren, Justin Murphy, Lucas Reeder (Jacie Tuttle), Logan Reeder, Tucker Jones, Beau Jones, Bailey Jones, Noah Jones and Emma Jones; his stepgranddaughter Ariana Goforth Hatch; his great grandchildren, Harlee Murphy and Hudson Murphy; and his brothers-in-law, Bob, Marion, Jim and Pat Lawler.

Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to St. Jude Hospital for Children or St. Patrick Cemetery.
