She is survived by: her children, Jim Doyle (Donna), Charles Doyle (Valarie), Leslie Carpenter (John), Patricia Betts (Dale) and Darlene Scherrer (late Matt Abrahamson); her grandchildren, Britney Miller, Kelly Doyle, Monica Doyle, Charles Doyle, Kaitlin Dietrich, Elizabeth Kraft, Marie-Louise Maloney, Lauren McFarland, Kassidy Scherrer and Nathaniel Betts; and her siblings, Maureen Herbert, Elizabeth Lee, Corrine Ryder and Steven Hales. She is also survived by nineteen great‑grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cox & Son Funeral Home (209 S Jarrell St, Ridgway, IL 62979). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Kateri Catholic Church (220 S Combs St, Ridgway, IL 62979). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (14010 St Joseph Rd, Ridgway, IL 62979).
