She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Beth Maloney Wargel of Equality, Illinois.; her grandparents, Daniel, Margaret Maloney, Joseph and Rose Wargel; and her brother Joseph.
She is survived by: her father Charles J. Wargel; her siblings, Donna Scheppe (Bill), Helen Wargel, Thomas Wargel (Claudine), Teresa Boulds (Brady) and Katie Anderson (Michael); her nieces and nephews, Andrew Scheppe, Karalyn Scheppe, Kathleen Scheppe (Anshika), Landon Wargel, Kinser Wargel, Logan Boulds (Sara), Noah Boulds and Ely Boulds; her great-nephew Moxley Boulds; her niece Hazel Boulds; her uncle Bob Wargel; her aunt Frances Traweek (Tony); her friends, Tory, Chris Wargel, Ginny, Kevin Bouse, Lori and John Longueville; and her cousin Kristi Rose (Fats Kaplin).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 3:45 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Cox & Son Funeral Home (209 S Jarrell St, Ridgway, IL 62979). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Kateri Church (220 S Combs St, Ridgway, IL 62979). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Kateri Church, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, or Ridgway Popcorn Day.
