We announce the death of Donald P. Wieczorek of River Forest, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 97. Donald’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joy Wieczorek; and his sisters, Dorothy and Anita. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jay Kinzie (Sara Jones) and Ellen Susan Garre (Jaswanth); and his great grandchildren, Adaline and Lincoln.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peterson-Bassi Chapels (6938 W North Ave, Chicago, IL 60707). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke Catholic Church (528 Lathrop Ave, River Forest, IL 60305).
