Irene V. Neuenfeld Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2025, at the age of 101, Irene V. Neuenfeld (River Grove, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Irene departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Irene. Though Irene may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband William E. Neuenfeld; her children, John Neuenfeld (late Linda), Carol Rakow (Willard) and Mary Grigg (James); and her great grandchildren, Willowbrook Ballroom Dancer and Anthony Drake.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Cyprian Catholic Church (2601 Clinton St, River Grove, IL 60171). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (3100 Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171).
