She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Putnin and Lucille Putnin; her husband Robert B. Gesse; her stepsons, George Gesse (Patricia), Michael Gesse (Lorraine) and Mark Gesse; her grandchildren, Mathew, John Gesse, Lenore Shorter (Scott), Michelle Awad, Beth Woodworth (Andrew) and Sarah Szalai (Keith); and her great grandchildren, Emily Shorter, Landon, Kahlyn, Austin Woodworth, Addyson, Josiah, Caleb Awad, Peyton and Brady Szalai.
A burial was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (3100 N Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171).
