He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Darmetko and Louisa Darmetko; his brother Edward Darmetko (Lorraine); and his father-in-law Samuel Mangia. He is survived by: his wife Mary Rose Mangia; his brother Anthony Darmetko (Rose); and his mother-in-law Rose Marie Mangia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (105 Herrick Rd, Riverside, IL 60546). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
