She was predeceased by: her sisters, Sally Jeske (late John), Rose Casassa (late Lewis), Rochelle Faust (late Clifford) and Linda Patten (late Ross); and her mother Theresa Latoria Damore.

She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Wert (Julia), Terri Tabor (Kevin) and Scott Wert (Lina); her grandchildren, Christopher Tabor (Becky), Kathryn Cronin (Thomas), Stephen Tabor (Emily), Kristina Moheban (Matthew), Bryan Tabor (Caitlyn), Sara Wert, Joanne Falk (Nick), Charles Wert (Alicia), Gianna Wert and Ava Wert; and her brother John Damore (Joyce). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Center for Independence Through Conductive Education (https://www.cfimove.org) , an organization that has benefitted Joan's great-grandson, Lincoln Tabor, are appreciated.
