It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy B Richards of Riverside, Illinois, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Richards; her sons, Michael Richards (Mary) and Timothy Richards (Heather); and her sister Judith Wenner (late John). She is survived by: her children, Juliana Tonkin (Jeff) and Paul Richards (Karen); her grandchildren, Jennifer Hesselschwardt (Jay), Ashley Garcia (Joseph), Adam Tonkin (Kylee), Colin, Amy, William, Ryan, Ellie, Erin, Ian, Jack, Alec and Anna Richards; and her great grandchildren, Marjorie, Sadie, Theodore, Peter Hesselschwardt, Cameron, Cooper Tonkin, Adalynn and Nalea Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Church (St. Paul Vi Parish) (105 Herrick Rd, Riverside, IL 60546). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy's memory to The Melvin C. Richards Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o St. Ignatius College Prep High School, 1076 W. Roosevelt Rd., Chicago, IL. 60608.
