Regina Julia Lukes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Regina Julia Lukes (Riverside, Illinois), who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Regina may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Regina touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rich Lukes; her sisters, Theresa Gierlowski (Chris Cummins) and Elizabeth Gierlowski-Kordesch (Martin Kordesch); her siblings' children, Alina Kordesch, Sean Cummins (Olivia Stallard), Nora Cummins and Kyle Lukes; and her brother-in-law Ken Lukes.
A reception will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ivins-Moravecek Funeral Home (80 E Burlington St, Riverside, IL 60546).
