William Carl Remmers Obituary
We bid farewell to William Carl Remmers of Riverton, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 25, 2025 at the age of 80. William Carl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilko Remmers and Blanche Remmers (Cording); and his siblings, Dorothy Hatch, David and Carl Remmers.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Nikki Baptist (Steve) of Riverton, Tracy Rutter of Riverton and DeAnna Clark of Springfield; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Macie Baptist, Kaleb, Sydney Rutter, Riley and Tyler Clark. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Toys for Tots.
