Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Arlene Susan Alpert of Riverwoods, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 77, on June 9, 2025. As we bid Arlene Susan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Arlene Susan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Kenneth Alpert (Amy); her grandchildren, Evan and Emma Alpert; her brothers, Joel Appelman (Sherry) and Eric "Rick" Appelman; and her nephew Douglas Appelman. She was also cherished by her family, friends, and the many doctors, nurses, and caregivers.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie, IL 60076). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Will Follow Directly After the Funeral Services (9959 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL 60077).
