She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredric Appelman and Marilyn Appelman; and her brother Eric "Rick" Appelman. She is survived by: her son Kenneth Alpert (Amy); her grandchildren, Evan and Emma Alpert; her brother Joel Appelman (Sherry); and her nephew Douglas Appelman. She is also survived by her family, friends, and the many doctors, nurses, and caregivers.
