He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis H. Vogel and Freida Krueger Vogel; his grandson Bryce Hunnings; and his siblings, Ruth Vogel, Marian Krueger and Fred Vogel.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Schneblin; his children, Melinda Hunnings (John Christie), Curt Vogel (Nancy) and Carlene Henricks (Nathan); his grandchildren, Brock, Brooke Hunnings, Ruth, Samuel, Luke, Ryder Vogel and Nolan Henricks; and his brother Louis Vogel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Roanoke.
