She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Petersen and Nell Fredrickson Petersen; her husband William F. Schumacher; and her brother Don Petersen. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Schumacher (Sandy) of Metamora, Barbara Berlett (Jim) of Eureka and Marilyn Messmer (Brad) of Pekin; her grandchildren, Thad Schumacher (Michelle), Kimberly Casey (Justin), Kris Berlett (Stacey), Braden Messmer and Bronwyn Messmer; and her great grandchildren, Maddie, Cara, Evan, Zachary, Kendall, Tyler, Natalie, Cody and Kelsey.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Roanoke or American Heart Association.
