He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Zimmerman and Helen L. Zimmerman (Feller); and his sister Susan Aberle. He is survived by: his wife Diana Howell Henson; his children, Robin Kaufmann (Tim), Joni Riney (Nick), Heidi McGowan (Lance), Holly Gerdes (Nate), Ashley Peterson (Greg) and Jeremy Zimmerman (Angie); his grandchildren, Gabe (Maddie), Ella, Sophie Kaufmann, Ali, Josie Zimmerman, Brady, Harper McGowan, Corbin, Norah Gerdes, Jolie and Oscar Peterson; his stepchildren, Danny Henson (Missy), Shawn Henson (Michelle) and Amy Henson (Patrick); his sisters, Patsy Kaeb (Bill), Peg Stoller (Tim) and Jan Rogers (Jared); and his brother-in-law Mike Aberle. He is also survived by 10 step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.
