He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Oltman and Mary Woltzen Oltman; his wife Betty L. Koehler; his grandson John Helsel; and his sister Marion Oltman.
He is survived by: his children, Pat Helsel (Al) of Roanoke, Phil Oltman (Colleen) of Roanoke, IL, Dan Oltman (Boni) of Roanoke, IL, Don Oltman (Cindy) of Manhattan, IL and Mike Oltman (Carrie) of Roanoke; and his siblings, Ed Oltman (Mary Ann) of Roanoke and Jeanie Burmood of Benson, IL.
