She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Unzicker and Virginia King Unzicker; her husband Gerald Schumacher; and her brother Kent Unzicker. She is survived by: her children, Jill Aeschleman (Steve), Julie Lindberg (Rich), Joan Sizelove, Jeff Schumacher (Tina) and Jim Schumacher (Colleen); her foster son Jason Christianson (Virginia); her siblings, Royal Unzicker (Sue), Carol Schweitzer (Jim), Leanna Miller (Jerry), Bob Unzicker (Dee) and Dallas Unzicker (Theresa); and her pet Penny. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; and 47 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Church (1570 County Rd 1300 N, Roanoke, IL 61561).
