He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Willis and Irene Jeanette Pedigo Surratt; and his siblings, Garland Surratt and Lois Maddox. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Helena Joann Chandler of Roanoke; his children, Liz Haws, Willis LaRou Surratt Jr. (Susan) of Roanoke, Terrence Lee Surratt (Karen) of Peoria, Rebecca Sue Phillips (Randy) of Bartonville, Candace Joann Kumer (John) of East Peoria and Michael Eugene Surratt (Dawn) of Pekin; and his sister Betty Fern House of Colorado.
