He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond A. "Billy" Garrard and Florence I. Garrard (Inboden); and his sisters, Roberta Sue and Jacqueline Adams. He is survived by: his children, Doug (Jane Garrard), Harold (Merry Garrard) and Brenda; his son-in-law Gregg Stanhope of Suwanee, GA; his grandchildren, Ginger (Casey Church), Stefan (Jessica Garrard), Christina (Jared Vaughn), James (Kelsey Garrard), Eli (Maya Garrard), Peter Garrard, Michael (Alissa Stanhope) and Matthew Stanhope (Charlotte Pokoik); his great grandchildren, Alex, Brittany Smith and Rafe Smith (Ginger); his grandchildren, Ethan Garrard (Stefan), Collier, Wesley Vaughn (Christina), Malakhi, Macin, Landen, Lance and Abigail Garrard (James); and his siblings, John (Janice Garrard), Mike (Linda Garrard), Naomi Mikeworth of Flat Rock, IL, Patsy (Jack Howison), Marge McQueen of Sebring, FL and Helen Decker (Clarence Schutte).
