He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest T. Tye and Harriet R. Tye (Holmes); and his brother Jake Tye. He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Sornberger; his children, Dale Tye (Kay), Dan Tye (Ronda) and Dean Tye; his grandchildren, Jordan Tye (Taffie), Bradley Tye, Erinn Norman (Joey), Derek Tye and Emma Tye; his great grandchildren, Quenten Tye, Benson Tye and Greyson Norman; his sister Ruth Ann Johnson; and his sisters-in-law, Ruby Tye and Sue Flinner.
Memorial contributions may be made to any charity or organization of the donor's choice, and memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
