We announce the death of John Gregory Branch (Robinson, Illinois), who passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 79. John Gregory will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. John Gregory will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. John Gregory’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Branch and Dorothy Branch; and his brother Bruce Branch of Hudson, OH.. He is survived by: his son Michael G. Branch (Joni); his wife Linda; his stepson David of Lyons, GA; and his siblings, Leanne Hudson (Steve) of Evansville, IN and David Branch of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Goodwine Funeral Homes & Cremation Services - Robinson (303 E Main St, Robinson, IL 62454). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A wake will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Elks Lodge 208 (208 W Walnut St, Robinson, IL 62454).
