She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Maurice Andersen and Elizabeth "Betty" Andersen (Leitner); and her brother Norbert C. "Norm" Andersen. She is survived by: her husband Ellis M. Sanders; her sons, Danny Warren and Scott Warren; her stepson Rodger Strand; her daughters, Wendy (Dave Pryor) and Julia (Scott Abrams); her stepdaughter Jennifer Strand; and her grandchildren, Sharon Stone, Christopher Warren, Matthew Warren, Jesse Warren, Jeromy Warren, Taylor Brule, Timothy Warren, Ariel Owens, Levi Brule, Travis Warren and Deja Brule.
The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Karen E. Sanders be made to the St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 208 South Lincoln Street, Robinson, IL 62454 with envelopes available at Pulliam Funeral Home or at the Church.
