He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Kesler and Berniece Kesler (Harris); his stepfather Orlie Henry; his sister Shirley; and his brother-in-law Clair Correll.

He is survived by: his wife Billie Ann Kesler (Sloan); his son Eric Jon Kesler (Donna); his granddaughters, Haley Urish (Gavin), Emilee Wenda (Nate) and Brooklyn Beck (Cooper); his stepgrandson Anthony Maquet (Julie Griffitts); his great grandchildren, Millie Sloan Urish and Maeve Marie Urish; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Adey Griffitts and Baylor Maquet; and his nephews, Randy Correll (Michelle) and Russell Correll (Jan).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the City of Robinson Parks Department, and envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
