He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Henry E. Murray and Hazel Lee Murray (Skidmore); and his brothers, Byron, H. E., David, John and Paul Murray.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Murray (Bell); his children, Tim (Paula Murray) and Janie Baker (Amy Hartke); and his grandchildren, Robbie (Jenifer Martin), Nick (BreAnne Martin), Brooke (Steve Mueckl), Zach (Kelly Murray), Jillian Baker, Curtis (Cassidy Baker) and Katie Hartke (Joe Hartke). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Crawford County 4-H Extension in tribute to Philip's many years as a 4-H Leader and his dedication to learning about agriculture.
