He was predeceased by: his parents, William James McMillen II and Rosalee Frances McMillen (Murray); his sisters, Betty McMillen and Barbara Summers; and his niece Debbie Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Joan McCullough; his children, Candence "Candy" Welsh (Mike), William Derek McMillen (Lori), Martin Shane McMillen and Matthew Lind McMillen (Lisa); and his sister Conni Alderton. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
