He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren S. Boardman and Elsie M. Boardman (Hansen). He is survived by: his wife Cathy Boardman; his children, Brittany Furman (Kyle) of Rochelle and Brent Boardman (Mackenzie) of Rochelle; and his grandchildren, Everett, Emmersyn Furman and Blake Boardman.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 229 Powers Rd, Rochelle, IL 61068.
