She is survived by: her husband Gary Schabacker; her children, Jason Schabacker of Rockford, IL and Joy Schabacker of Rochelle; her brother David Day (Karen) of Northville, MI; and her brother-in-law Dennis Schabacker (Kathy) of Ashburn, VA..

Memorials may be made in Dorothy's memory to St. Paul Lutheran Church and School.
