She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Montgomery and Cleo Wolfe (Files Montgomery); her stepfather Marshall Wolfe; her sister Charlene Joskoskie; her brother-in-law George Joskoskie; and her brother Jimmy Montgomery.
She is survived by: her brother Tommy Montgomery (Kay) of Paragould, AR; her children, Michael McCulloch (Laurie) of Rochelle, IL, Sandra Gevers (John) of Kansas City, MO and Cheryl Barringer (Kevin) of Oregon, IL; her grandchildren, Eryn Harper (Jason), Lauryn Ywanauskas (Kevin), Micah McCulloch (Devan), Chad Gevers (Carrie), Charles "Mitch" Barnett, Jeremy Gevers (Cassidy), Austin Gevers, Cayla Skoli (Ken), Kara Van Hise (Eric) and Cole Barringer (Alyssa); and her stepchildren, Danny Sexton, Karan Jones (Roger), Paulette Sexton and Shawn Sexton. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home (400 N 6th St, Rochelle, IL 61068). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Unger Horner Funeral Home (400 N 6th St, Rochelle, IL 61068).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Emma's memory to Serenity Hospice and Home.
