We are sad to announce that, on March 2, 2026, at the age of 87, John Leonard of Rochelle, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Edward Leonard and Valborg Genevieve Leonard (Wold); his former wife Kay Ann Leonard (Martin) of Warsaw, IN.; his siblings, Frank Waldo Leonard and Florence Nina Solberg (Leonard); his son Troy Leonard; and his grandson Zackary.
He is survived by: his children, Tracey Van Iwarrden (Mark) of Colorado and Mark Leonard of Colorado; his grandchildren, Christian of Kansas and Alaysa of Kansas; and his wife Sue Ella Tansey.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 23313.
