He was predeceased by : his father Joseph M. Smith. He is survived by : his mother Jane L. Smith (Ponto) of Steward, IL; his brothers, Jason Smith (Trease) of Oklahoma and Jeff Schell of Steward, IL; his nieces and nephews, Gracie Lou, Rachael, Jada of Kayla, CJ and Mason; and his close friend Julie Ansteth of Rochelle.
