With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marian Richman of Rochelle, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Greenfield and Alice Greenfield (Killmer); her grandmother Berries; her former husband James Asselborn; and her mother-in-law Mildred Asselborn (Briggs).
She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Richman of Rochelle, IL; her daughters, Kristine Asselborn, Kathleen Asselborn of Poplar Grove, IL, Jeanne Madison (Brett) of Mazon, IL and Jane Cassidy (Steve) of Rochelle, IL; her stepdaughter Lisa De La (Roland); her siblings, Caroline Levan (Russell) of Grand Detour, IL and John Greenfield of Rochelle; her sister-in-law JoAnne Woodard (Nelson) of Fullerton, CA; and her grandchildren, Courtney Arnquist (Eric) of Byron, IL, Zach Cassidy (Danelle) of Kings, IL, Cody Cassidy (Sarah) of Oregon, IL, Nick Madison (Claire) of Noblesville, IN, Mark Madison of Kingston, TN, Brittney Madison Higdon (Michael) of Barrington, IL, Scott Wietrzykowski of Chicago, IL and Allison Wietrzykowski of Poplar Grove, IL. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Unger Horner Funeral Home (400 N 6th St, Rochelle, IL 61068). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (236 Kelley Dr, Rochelle, IL 61068).
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's hospital, Shriners Children's Hospital or St. Patrick Catholic Church, Rochelle, IL.
