She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Johnson and Minnie Johnson (Smith); her husband James W. Hammonds; and her siblings, Francis Hammonds and J. W. Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Tina Wilton (Mel) of Rochelle, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Kyle Hammonds, Rachel Hammonds, Melvin Wilton, Matthew Wilton and Robert Wilton.
