We bid farewell to Nancy Esgar (Rochelle, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Nancy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Willard and Florence Willard (Reeder). She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Esgar of Rochelle; her sons, Kevin Esgar (Erran) of South Elgin, Scott Esgar of Loves Park, Timothy Esgar of Paonia, CO and Brian Esgar (Marci) of Rochelle; her grandchildren, Haley Esgar, Kasey Kramer (Zack), Dylan Esgar, Erin Esgar, Ashlyn Esgar, Heaven Esgar, Hayden Esgar and Hunter Esgar; her great grandchildren, Elle, Brooklyn and Arlo; her brother James Willard; and her cousins, Gayle Kern and David Willard.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home (400 N 6th St, Rochelle, IL 61068). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rochelle United Methodist Church (709 4th Ave, Rochelle, IL 61068).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to the David Crawford Foundation or the Rochelle United Methodist Church.
