With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Dummer Sr. (Rochelle, Illinois), who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Leroy G. Dummer; his mother-in-law Peggy Mitchusson; his niece Holly Schier; and his uncle Ronald "Beeb" Coffman. He is survived by: his mother Jacklin J. Dummer (Thompson) of Rochelle; his wife Tammy Lynn Mitchusson of Rochelle; his children, Nathan Lauzon (Laura) of Dixon, IL, Mande Dummer (Matt Leal) of Rockfalls, IL, Stevie Dummer, Jr. (Dani Kramer) of Rochelle, Katie Nicol (Andrew) of Rochelle, Nick Person of Rochelle and Jeremy Person of Rochelle; his siblings, Randy Dummer (Sarah) of Davis Junction, IL, Tom Dummer of Rochelle and Beth Kvool (Allan) of Ashton, IL; and his grandchildren, Braden, Emma, Joel, Landyn, Parker, Tucker, Dalanie, Hailey, Caiden, Madi, Dawson, Avery, Layla, Timmy and Nicky.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home (400 N 6th St, Rochelle, IL 61068). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Trinity Memory Gardens (14712 E Twombly Rd, Rochelle, IL 61068).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help with the funeral services.
