She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred J. Harris and Lulu A. Derrickson; her husband Jack; her son Gerald "Jerry" Downey; her grandson Joshua; and her brother John Harris.

She is survived by: her children, Kevin Downey (Carlota) of Swansea, LuAnn Eifert (Robert) of Springfield and Janice Downey of Rochester; her grandchildren, Rachel Hickman, Jordan Downey, Marissa Eifert and Megan Lunt; and her siblings, Virginia Warren and Terrence Harris. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
