She was predeceased by : her husband Melvin Miner; her former life partner LeRoy Swindell; her parents, James Wesley and Mildred Helen Penrod (Stearns); her sisters, Irma E. Reiman (Harrison) and Wilma J. Chang (David Yen); and her brothers-in-law, Alvin Smith and Donald LeGrand.

She is survived by : her siblings, Barbara Penrod (Brown) of Rochester, IL, Virginia M, Howard Cook of Cadiz, KY and Jama LeGrand of Gallatin, TN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
