He was predeceased by : his parents, Delbert Benson and Alicia Benson (Clark); and his brother Wayne Benson. He is survived by : his wife Linda E. Sexton Pike; his children, Jennifer O'Brien (Matthew) of Rochester, Stacie Marcum (Ryan) of Cantrall and Ryan Pike of Springfield; his grandchildren, Eilish, Andrew, Seamus, Alex and Emily; his brother Paul Benson (Kathy) of Florida; and his sister-in-law Judy Benson of Rhode Island.
