With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Megan O'Connor Eairheart of Rochester, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2024 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Megan O'Connor's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Megan O'Connor has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She is survived by : her parents, Patrick O'Connor and Robyn O'Connor (Gerhard) of Petersburg; her children, Emma, Landon and Connor; her brother Sean O'Connor (Rebecca) of Terry, MS; her sister-in-law Lindsey Hensley (Derek) of Springfield; and her grandmother Kathryn O'Connor of Springfield. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Megan Eairheart Education Fund for her children in care of Brian.
