She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Buchter and Etta Buchter; her siblings, Laverne (Elsie Helen), Dellas (Esther), Velma Salisbury (Lloyd), Violet Goken (Ralph), Dessie Wierney (Joe) and Elsie Mae Godbey (Thaxton); her husband Richard (Dick) of Niantic; her children, Sandy McConnell (Mike) and Jim (Joyce); and her grandchildren, Kimberly McConnell, Gabe Hartwig and Chelsea Hartwig.
