With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Taylor of Rochester, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Pearson and Irene Pearson (Jackson); her husband Jack K. Taylor; her daughter Erin Taylor; and her siblings, Howard Pearson (late Connie) and Esther Hires.
She is survived by: her children, Natalie Taylor and Stuart Taylor (Pam); her grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley (Jonathan Lescisin), Alex (Steph Simon), Hailey and Gage Taylor; her stepgrandchildren, Mel Shaughnessy (Nate), Mitch and Jake Populorum; her great grandchildren, Riverly, Memphis and Axel Taylor; and her stepgreat-grandsons, Liam and Luke Shaughnessy Per.
Memorial may be made to the Rochester Friends of the Library, 1 Community Drive, Rochester, IL. 62563 in Phyllis's name.
