With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert William Maxwell of Rochester, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2026 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Lacy and Betty June Maxwell (Kinkead); his wife Jan; and his siblings, Jennifer, Phil and Mickey "Mick" Maxwell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stacey Case and Caitlin Maxwell; his grandchildren, Payton Case and Evelyn Sue Wingler; his siblings, Sharon Stickel (late Jim), Marilyn Kuykendall of Springfield, Tom Maxwell (Jannie) and Jimmy Maxwell of Jacksonville; his sisters-in-law, Donna Maxwell (late Phil) of Springfield and Mary Kay Lentz (late Mick) of Springfield; and his pets, Lizzie, Gracie and Tess. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
