He was predeceased by: his parents, William Roy and Dorothy Roy (Pokora). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Roy of Rochester; his children, Amy Roy, Ryan Roy, Haley Roy (Jason Petros), Jacob Roy, Tracie Roy and Zachary Roy; and his brother Thomas Roy (Smantha).
