It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Duane Lee Bartelt of Rock City, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 79, on October 30, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Bartelt and Lillian Bartelt; and his brother Bob. He is survived by: his wife Linda Zimmerman; his children, Angie, Mike (Nancy) and Chris; his sister Mary Holland; his grandchildren, Dylan (Cait), Alyson, Reece and Grace; his great grandchildren, Grayson and Hudson; his close friend Leonardo of Italy; and his pets, Bella and Toby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a Memorial has been established to the Friends Forever Humane Society.
