She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Garcia and Porfiria Garcia (Escamilla); her siblings, Mario Garcia, Frank Garcia, Jr., Louisa Garcia and Julia Colon; and her brother-in-law Ruben Echebarria.
She is survived by: her children, Aurora Hay (Jeffery, Sr.) of Montgomery and Ruben Echebarria, Jr. of Aurora; her sisters, Lupita Rodriguez of Davenport, IA, Olga Garcia of Rock Falls and Juanita Salgado (Alfonso) of Rochelle; and her grandsons, Jeff Hay, Jr. of Oswego and Kevin Hay (Victoria) of Raeford, N. C.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
