He was predeceased by : his parents, John Meyer and Elizabeth Meyer (Potter); and his brother John Meyer. He is survived by : his wife Jean Weber of Rock Falls; his children, Kelli Groleau (Rich) of Prophetstown, Sherri Moeller of Rock Falls, Robert "Bill" Meyer of Henderson, NV and Chrissie Gilbert (Tom) of Henderson, NV; his grandchildren, Amanda Groleau, Nicole Groleau, Jordan Moeller, Matthew Moeller (Chris), McKayla Gilbert and Tristen Gilbert; and his great grandchild Aubrey Sucher.
